This book, which is out of print and quite hard to find a copy of (took me 3 years to find a copy myself, and then finally it was through Amazon), is one of Idries Shah's more esoteric ones. In fact the book is not listed on any of the books-lists under his name (for instance you can look at http://www.octagonpress.com/~sufi/shahbook.htm). This book is truly a treasure-house when it comes to esoteric material and I can only recommend it.
But I will also draw attention to some of I. Shahs other books, for instance "Learning How to Learn" and "The Sufis".
